Ask toddlers to draw and color pictures of the little house, to draw or make pipe cleaner, clay or other models of the family who live in the little house, and to point to and say the names of objects in their own home and mentioned in the story, for each of the three stages of the story: before the twins are born, after the twins and their younger sister are born, and after the grandparents move in with the family.
Ask children ages 5-8 to draw and color or create clay or other models of the little house, the rooms and other spaces in the little house, and the family who live in the little house, for each of those three stages.
Ask a child of any age to draw and color a picture or create a model of The Virus and to draw and color a second picture or create a second model showing the child destroying The Virus.
